We were university students (Chulalongkorn U.) who loved going out — a lot. Every weekend we'd end up in Thonglor, Ekkamai, Kaset, or Banthat Thong, the nightlife spots for our generation. But booking a table was painfully hard: you'd message a venue, wait for an admin to reply, message ten of them, and go with whoever answered first. The slow ones simply lost the customer.
The two co-founders met at Chulalongkorn University. One studied computer engineering; the other had organized events for over 1,000 people and came from a family in enterprise software (SAP) for large organizations. With that mix of tech and real event experience, and having felt the booking problem firsthand, they decided to build the system they wished existed. Their first customer was Philterroom, a venue on Banthat Thong.
Today, more than 20 venues across Thailand run on our system, from the north to the south and east to west. We've processed over ฿5 million in payments without a single slip checked by hand, and handled 50,000+ reservations. And we're still building, every day.
We started as the frustrated customers ourselves, and we've run large events firsthand, so the system is designed from the perspective of the people who actually use it, not from theory.
